One runtime, source-available core, commercial reach
AuraBoot is an AI-native enterprise application runtime — model-driven, command-governed, plugin-delivered. Community is free for internal apps, customer-owned delivery, and vertical business SaaS when customers buy the business application. Commercial editions buy white-label rights, commercial paperwork, support, and the plugin/governance capabilities listed in the current delivery list. Standard and Professional are early promotional prices with a large discount compared with public commercial-license pricing in the same category.

- Not automatic with a commercial license
- Handled case-by-case with explicit scope

Which edition should I choose?
Community
Use it for internal apps, customer-owned project delivery, and vertical business SaaS when visible AuraBoot attribution is acceptable.
Standard
Use it when your team needs white-label rights, commercial paperwork, report/export capabilities, the current Standard delivery list, and basic support.
Professional
Use it when OIDC/OAuth/LDAP, permission governance, field permissions, ABAC, masking, audit controls, and priority support are part of the customer-facing value; included plugins follow the current delivery list.
Enterprise
Use it when compliance, native mobile, high availability, dedicated support, custom development, or platform/OEM negotiation is part of the deal.
OEM / Platform SaaS Rider
Selling AuraBoot itself as a low-code or AI platform needs explicit written terms.
Community use, self-hosting, customer-owned project delivery, and vertical business SaaS are allowed when customers buy a concrete business application. Managed AuraBoot hosting, app-builder APIs, platform resale, or multi-tenant low-code SaaS require Enterprise negotiation and a separate SaaS / OEM rider for the specific deployment.

The Enterprise page is organized around screenshot slots and concrete feature blocks, so sales and delivery teams can replace placeholders with real demo screenshots.

Frequently asked questions
How do I decide which edition fits my project?
Match the rights and operating surface you need. Community is enough when visible AuraBoot attribution is acceptable and you are selling or running a concrete business application. Standard adds white-label rights, commercial paperwork, report/export capability, and the current Standard delivery list. Professional adds the current Professional delivery list, scoped OIDC/OAuth/LDAP delivery, governance acceptance paths, delivery-list audit controls, and priority support. Enterprise covers HA, native mobile, private distribution, dedicated support, and separately negotiated OEM/SaaS terms.
What does AuraBoot actually replace, and what does it not?
AuraBoot is a runtime, not a packaged ERP and not a quick data-app builder. It is the right fit when business operations are complex enough to need a governed command pipeline, layered permissions, and AI-safe execution — and when those operations are expected to evolve over years. It is not a same-quarter replacement for a country-specific accounting suite, and not the fastest way to expose a database table as a back-office screen.
Is AuraBoot open source?
AuraBoot Community is source-available under AuraBoot License Agreement v1.3. It is a community license for self-hosted internal apps, customer-owned delivery, and vertical business SaaS when customers buy the business application rather than the platform-building capability. It is not OSI-approved open source.
Do I need to pay for self-hosting or internal business apps?
No. Self-hosting, internal company use, ISV delivery to customer-owned infrastructure, and vertical business SaaS are allowed under the Community license as long as AuraBoot branding, license notices, and attribution remain intact, and you are not reselling AuraBoot itself as a low-code or AI app-building platform.
Do I have to publish my modifications or business code?
No. AuraBoot Community is not AGPL or GPL. Your modifications, private fork, business code, and plugins may remain closed source unless you choose to contribute them back.
When do I need a commercial license?
You need a commercial license when you want white-label rights, removal of AuraBoot branding, a commercial agreement for procurement or legal review, official support/SLA, capabilities in the current delivery lists, report/export features, enterprise governance features, or custom development.
How are commercial editions delivered?
Commercial editions are delivered as commercial rights plus a clear delivery list. A paid delivery may include a platform release, plugin packages or plugin manifests, a license file, installation notes, release notes, known limitations, and an acceptance path. Public Marketplace, license server, payment systems, native mobile, HA, and OEM/platform SaaS rights are Enterprise or custom delivery items.
Why are Standard and Professional priced in RMB?
These are early promotional prices for the current launch period and represent a large discount compared with public commercial-license pricing in the same category. Prices may change after the promotion period; purchased licenses keep the rights defined in their signed agreement.
Can I build and sell a vertical SaaS on AuraBoot?
Yes, when the product you sell is a specific business application such as ERP, CRM, education, restaurant, or industry operations software. If customers primarily buy access to platform capability such as low-code modeling, page building, workflow authoring, or AI app-building, you need written SaaS / OEM terms.
Can I offer managed AuraBoot hosting or a low-code platform SaaS?
Not under the Community license, and not under a standard commercial license by default. Managed AuraBoot hosting, platform SaaS/PaaS, app-builder APIs, OEM resale, and low-code or AI platform services mean you are selling AuraBoot platform capability itself. They require Enterprise negotiation and a written SaaS / OEM rider for the specific deployment.
Can future license changes take away my current rights?
No. AuraBoot Community License is published by version. Rights granted for an already released version are not retroactively withdrawn by later license changes. Future boundary changes apply only to future versions and will be announced in advance.
What happens when my upgrade period expires?
Your software continues to work under the signed commercial agreement. Renewal is optional and affects future upgrades, maintenance releases, and support. Standard and Professional renewals are generally 30% of the original license price per year.
Can I upgrade from Standard to Professional?
Yes. You can upgrade by paying the price difference. Your upgrade and support period resets to 1 year from the upgrade date.
What does the license bind to?
Commercial license terms are specified in the signed agreement. The default self-hosted commercial model is one production deployment with unlimited development and staging environments.
Do you offer startup discounts?
Yes. Startups under 2 years old with less than $1M in annual revenue qualify for 50% off. Contact us with proof of incorporation.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer and PayPal. Online credit card payment (Stripe) is planned. Contact us through the website to arrange payment and licensing paperwork.
